Don’t let the headline fool you. Yes, the BMW M5 Ring Taxi has four very agile 20-inch wheels. It’s just when Sabine Schmitz is piloting it around the 112 sharp corners of the world’s most treacherous Formula One track, there’s no promise they’ll all be hugging the pavement.
We filmed Sabine and The Ring as part of the latest series in the American Airlines Milestones travel campaign – and what a perfect ending to a high-flying tour of filming that included over 60 days in Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Canada and Germany during 2009.
